JAECOO is the proud official vehicle partner for EFC

JAECOO is pleased to announce its association with EFC as the official vehicle partner of Africa’s premier mixed martial arts (MMA) organisation.

As one of the fastest-growing entrants to South Africa’s new-vehicle market, JAECOO is a unique urban off-road SUV brand, with its debut model, the sleekly styled J7, offering outdoor-loving customers more toughness than a typical urban SUV yet more comfort and technology than traditional off-roaders.

“At JAECOO, we have a saying: ‘fearless salutes fearless’. This exciting new partnership with EFC is the embodiment of that maxim and lines up perfectly with our growing brand’s unwavering pursuit of adventure,” said Shannon Gahagan, National Brand and Marketing Manager OMODA & JAECOO.

Established in 2009 in South Africa, EFC provides athletes with a world-class platform to unleash their full potential and showcase their prowess on a global stage. The action-packed competition is filled with thrilling head-to-head battles and fosters lofty levels of excitement, mirroring JAECOO’s entry to the highly competitive local new-vehicle market earlier this year.

“We are proud to officially partner with JAECOO, a new and exciting vehicle brand that is set to take the world by storm. Like EFC, JAECOO is here to challenge the status quo, and take on the traditional 'big players' in the industry by offering the best possible product and quality,” said EFC President Cairo Howarth.

EFC events take place in South Africa, but bouts are broadcast to over 120 countries around the world. As the new official vehicle partner to the organisation, JAECOO has provided J7 vehicles to various EFC title-match competitors, allowing them – just like JAECOO brand ambassador Senzo Radebe and countless satisfied customers around the country – to arrive at show venues in comfort and style.

Since the MMA organisation’s inception, all EFC events have been overseen by dedicated doctors, who are assisted by an on-site emergency medical team, while every athlete undergoes various medical tests before their match. This pioneering approach, along with the adherence to an extensive list of international unified rules, reflects EFC’s commitment to making the sport safer, an outlook that is wholly in line with JAECOO’s stance on vehicle safety.

“The JAECOO J7 is constructed according to global 5-star safety standards and comes packed with standard safety features and driver-assistance technology. So, just like EFC and its athletes, we believe in both working hard and playing hard, but still keeping safety firmly in mind. This, then, is our ringside salute, from one fearless organisation to another,” concluded Gahagan.

Look out for JAECOO’s presence at the next EFC event on 8 August 2024.
